Thryv alternatives: what to use instead, and when Thryv is still the better pick
Short answer
The best Thryv alternative depends on why you're leaving. If you need dispatch, technician apps and price books, Jobber and Housecall Pro publish prices that start at $29 and $59 per month billed annually, and ServiceTitan quotes larger shops per technician. If you want sales and marketing automation, Keap (owned by Thryv) and HubSpot are closer matches, and Copper fits teams that work in Gmail. Thryv is still the better pick when listings, reviews and local marketing are your main need.

Who this page is for
- You use Thryv today and your renewal date is coming up.
- A Thryv rep pitched you, and you want to see what else is out there first.
- You bought Thryv for marketing and now need dispatch, crews or a price book.
- You’re comparing Thryv with Jobber, Housecall Pro or ServiceTitan by name.
Why trade businesses look for Thryv alternatives
Most reasons fall into three groups.
- They need field tools. Thryv’s pages don’t describe a dispatch board, technician GPS, route optimization, equipment records or a flat-rate price book. Shops that dispatch all day feel that gap.
- They want a different price shape. Thryv’s main plans are $99 and $399 per month, as of October 2026. A solo plumber who mainly needs quotes and invoices may pay less elsewhere.
- They had a hard time with billing or cancellation. Those are the most common complaint themes in Thryv’s Trustpilot reviews, which averaged 2.6 out of 5 when I checked in October 2026.
My Thryv review covers its plans, features and public ratings in full, so this page focuses on what to use instead.
Check your Thryv contract before you switch
Thryv’s small business terms say annual periods renew automatically and that you must give written notice at least 30 days before the next period starts. Outside the first 3 days after purchase, the terms say refunds are not given except as the terms state.
Find your order form, note the end of your current period, and plan the switch so the new tool is running before Thryv ends. The full list of terms is in the contract section of my Thryv review.
Thryv alternatives compared
Prices come from each provider’s pricing page, as of October 2026. Thryv and Copper are providers I work with. I don’t work with the others.

| FieldEdge | You run an established HVAC, plumbing or electrical shop | Not published; annual memberships | No free trial |
| Keap (owned by Thryv) | You want sales and marketing automation more than field tools | $299/mo monthly or $2,988/yr, 2 users, $39/mo per extra user | Required onboarding; no dispatch tools listed |
| HubSpot | You want a sales CRM with marketing tools and a free start | Free tools for up to 2 users; Starter lists at $20 per seat per month | Not built for dispatching field crews |
| Copper | Your team sells bids from Gmail and Google Workspace | Basic $23, Professional $59, Business $99 per seat per month billed annually | Its site doesn’t list scheduling, dispatch or a technician app |
| LMN or Service Autopilot | You run a landscaping or lawn care company | LMN from $297/mo plus onboarding; Service Autopilot from $49/mo plus sign-up fee | Built for landscaping, not other trades |
HubSpot’s Starter page also showed a limited-time discount for new customers when I checked [VERIFICAR]. Landscaping specialists are compared in detail on the landscaping software page.
Thryv vs Jobber
Jobber is field service software first. It publishes every tier, from Core at $29 per month billed annually up to Plus at $399 per month for 5 users, and offers a 14-day trial of its Grow plan without a credit card.
Thryv is marketing first. Its plans center on listings, reviews, a website and social media, and it adds CRM, scheduling, estimates and invoices.
Pick Jobber if your day is about quoting, scheduling crews and getting paid. Pick Thryv if your day is about getting the phone to ring and following up with past customers. Jobber sells its own Marketing Suite at $99 per month as an add-on, so price that in if you want both from Jobber.
Thryv vs Housecall Pro
Housecall Pro is built for residential trades. Its Basic plan ($59 per month billed annually) already includes online booking, dispatch, estimates, invoicing, a price book, consumer financing and review management.
Thryv’s Starter ($99 per month) and Signature ($399 per month) plans are built around marketing. For a plumbing or HVAC shop with a few techs, Housecall Pro covers more of the daily work at a lower published price. Thryv covers more of the marketing.
If you’re a plumber, my plumbing software page compares the two in more depth. HVAC companies should read the HVAC software page, where service plans and equipment history decide it.
Thryv vs ServiceTitan
These two rarely compete for the same buyer. ServiceTitan targets shops with dispatchers, call takers and memberships, and it doesn’t publish prices. Thryv targets small businesses that need marketing and simple customer management.
Thryv’s HVAC page mentions an integration with ServiceTitan [VERIFICAR], which suggests some businesses use both: ServiceTitan for operations and Thryv for marketing.
When Thryv is still the better pick
Thryv is the better pick when:
- Most of your problem is visibility: few reviews, listings out of date, no real website.
- You want listings, review requests, social posting and a website from one company, with support included.
- Your scheduling is simple: one appointment per visit, no crews and no dispatch board.
- You’d rather have done-for-you marketing (Boosts) than run ads yourself.
- You already use Keap and want marketing and automation under one company.
If that describes you, the alternatives above may solve a problem you don’t have.
How to switch without losing data
- Export your data first. Download customers, estimates, invoices and payment history while your account is active.
- Check who owns your domain and website. If Thryv built your site, ask how the domain and content transfer.
- Make sure you own your Google Business Profile. You, not a vendor, should be the primary owner.
- Replace tracking phone numbers. If your listings show a tracking number from your old plan, update the listings before that number stops working.
- Run both tools for two to four weeks. Book new jobs in the new tool while you close out open ones in the old one.
- Give notice on time. Send written notice at least 30 days before your next Thryv period starts, and keep a copy.
Mistakes to avoid when switching
- Canceling before exporting. Once access ends, getting your history out is harder.
- Missing the notice date. A missed window can add a full renewal period.
- Switching to a tool built for a different problem. If marketing was your gap, a pure field service tool won’t fix it.
- Forgetting the phone numbers. Customers keep calling whatever number is on your listings.
- Moving in your busy season. Plan the switch for your slowest month.
The contractor CRM guide covers how to choose by team size and trade. If your team mostly works in Gmail, the Google Workspace CRM page compares Copper and similar tools. For a shortlist built around why you’re leaving Thryv, send me your current setup.
